Courageous Curiosity Pays Off

Zorro has always been our most courageous cat. As a kitten, I don’t think he was even 5 weeks old yet, he met our boxer dog Otter for the first time and grabbed him by the face. We already knew that Otter would be gentle with him, but there was no way that Zorro could know that. We fully expected him to react like all of his siblings, for this tinny little kitten in our hands to hiss and be very afraid of this 85-pound boxer. Boxers are believed to have a bite force of about 230 pounds per square inch, some put them in the top 5 breeds for bite power. Zorro had no hope against this huge boxer if Otter wanted to hurt him, but he had a courageous curiosity that paid off in great ways, as the two became best friends and have often been seen sleeping together.
